  • Emerging business needs mandate superior performance of your IT systems. Your applications need to be secure and user-friendly, while also responding faster and complying with prevailing regulations.

  • iFocus leverage our vast testing experience, deep domain knowledge and technical expertise to address your specific testing requirements.

iFocus portfolio of Specialized Testing Services includes:

Security Testing - Our methodology for security testing is designed to identify potential loopholes and weaknesses in your system to assess its vulnerability.

Usability Testing – Our group of technical and usability professionals assess the usability of your applications and interfaces with respect to their appearance and ease of use.

Package Implementation Testing - We test inter-related applications developed by third-party software vendors. We offer implementation testing for a variety of packages including SCM, ERP and CRM from SAP, Oracle (PeopleSoft), etc.

Product Testing - We test the functionality of your domain-specific software products. Our product testing competence spans multiple industry domains- in Insurance, Banking, Financial Markets, Retail, Embedded, Telecom and Healthcare etc.

Data Warehouse Testing - We use a unique, structured approach to data warehouse testing that runs in parallel with the development flow to eliminate anomalies before they reach production. Testing happens at different stages, each of which is performed to validate data completeness, transformation logic, data quality and performance scalability.

  • Data integrity test
  • Testing of the Extraction, Transformation and Load (ETL) process
  • Real time load and performance testing
  • "Audit trails" and logs verification (for data resuscitation)
  • Data security testing

Mobile Applications Testing

Brief Introduction

Mobile handsets have evolved into mini-supercomputers! The applications which reside on these devices range from a simple mp3 player to full-fledged PC-like functionality. At the same time, there are plenty of legacy devices, which need to interact in this complex ecosystem. Because of the richness of the platform and interoperability issues, this domain has attained a separate status and is not to be confused with a typical embedded domain.

The test areas are
  • Smart Device Application testing
  • Price-plan verification
  • International roaming QoS validation
  • Mobile application download (over-the-air) testing
  • End-to-end business process

Embedded Testing

Brief Introduction

An embedded system is a special-purpose system in which the computer is completely encapsulated by the dedicated device or system it controls. Some also have real-time performance constraints that must be met, for reason such as safety and usability. Consumer electronic goods are a prime class of embedded systems. They include devices such as Televisions, DVD players, Washing machines, Air conditioners etc. Today’s consumer electronic devices are a rich blend of software driven and hardware supported platforms of convenience. As the role of software in these devices increases (at times, exponentially), the importance of testing the software rises to mission critical levels.

The test areas are

  • Television system tests
  • User Interface testing
  • Data driven applications (such as Electronic Program Guide, Teletext etc.,) testing
  • MPEG and other audio-visual codecs testing
